Featured Member: Lacy Pearson

Join us this week in visiting with Artist in Residence Lacy Pearson and all the places you can find her online! We love the website she has designed for her artwork and the way she has photographed her work to display there and on her Instagram feed! 

Lacy's artwork has a distinct style and it is consistently photographed in bright light, allowing us to see all the little details of swirls of ink and textured wax. Her website does a beautiful job with detail shots from around her studio, showing how she scrapes, blows and brushes her material around. Lacy does a wonderful job of showing herself with her artwork, too. From pictures of her at work to her standing in front of her work displayed on a wall, you can get a better sense for the scale of her pieces and the effort that goes into them from what she's shared.

Her website's design is also crisp and easy to navigate, which will make it easier for her collector's to shop. Recently we've been talking about making sure our website is aligned with our goals to sell our work! We really feel Lacy has done a great job keeping herself focused on that and it shows in how she's put her website together. Keep up the great work, Lacy!
