Featured Artist: Elise Mendelle

We're happy to highlight figurative painter Elise Mendelle as our featured Artist in Residence this week! Elise recently released a collection of paintings inspired by The Power of Connection and we're so excited for her!

One of the things we took notice to in Elise's new collection was the way she writes about her paintings on her website and Instagram. She really leans into the "anonymous" feeling of her work and uses it to describe the emotion behind each piece. Even though she paints figures, none of her paintings contain faces. They way Elise writes about each piece makes it so her collectors can picture themselves in the paintings-  it helps them relate to her work that much more. Great work, Elise!
